Often used in conjunction with Mist Step, Freezing Mists summons forth a shifting blanket of mist that dampens sounds and smells, obscures vision and chills those who stray into it. The caster is immune to damage caused by the spell, and his awareness is unhampered by it. Additionally, he can control the mist's movement, causing it to slowly drift in a chosen direction – although it cannot wholly defy gravity and so must hug the ground or water over which it passes.
