Overcharge

Overcharge spells allow their caster to invest up to double the normal Maximum Power Cost (round up), but this extra Power has a reduced effect – with every two whole points counting as an increase of one, both for purposes of the spell's effects and for its interactions with other spells (such as Power-based counterspells).
