Solsheim Wardens

The Solsheim Wardens are a secretive order of mystic knights dedicated to serving and defending the land and people of the Forest of Blades, particularly (though not exclusively) from those aligned with Chaos. The wardens have long been allied with a variety of other factions associated with Law, and have traditionally served as guardians of the Path of Silver - the subterranean road that travels beneath the Solsgard Mountains and through the Solsheim Deeps to link the Stone Gates with the Silver Citadel.

The Wardens worship Taramis, in his aspect as the guide of Schiraman, and Jurakell - the Angel of the Black Gate.

Many of the order's recruits are drawn from the reclusive local people of the Forest of Blades, and the order is said to have unparalleled knowledge of the forest's scattered settlements and secret paths as a result.

The only known stronghold of the Wardens is the ancient fortress known as the Sinking Tower, though they are rumoured to have other holdings, hidden deeper in the forest or the surrounding mountains.
