Menkharra

Menkharra was one of the first Gods to arrive at Reshomme, travelling there along with a number of companions in order to find respite from the great war that had engulfed the Spheres. He is generally referred to as The Creator, since it was his magic that brought forth the first Planes within Reshomme. His arrival there marked the beginning of the First Age.

Menkharra's initial companions were his advisor Hollus, his brother Grendarra, his herald Morivar, his scouts Yaasha and Taramis and the sisters Faraya and Bethtarr. They arrived at Reshomme with a pair of allies, the warrior sisters Alas and Vellamni. As well as Morivar, they were accompanied by a number of lesser angels - including Jurakell, Iasakell, Jollesh and Idorishi.

When it became clear that the Spheres had shifted and the Hub Sphere was lost to them, Menkharra became determined to build a new life in Reshomme. To this end he slit his wrist with his blade, the Banesword, and created the Amma from the spilled blood. This marked the beginning of the Second Age.

Eventually some of the Amma became jealous of the Gods' power - especially that of Menkharra - and they plotted to murder him and steal his magic. Although the plotters succeeded in slaying him while he slept, using his own sword against him, his lover Alas awoke before they could murder her also. Taking the Banesword from them, Alas killed not only the conspirators but in her blind fury destroyed all of the Amma and the World of Order that they and the Gods had created together.

After his death it was Menkharra's blood that gave rise to the forests and, later, all the other plant and animal life of the world. This marked the beginning of the Third Age.
