This vastly useful spell allows its caster to teleport himself, or a creature, spirit or enchanted item within touch range, across a great distance without the need to first conjure a gate. Teleport can create its own Astral Beacons – both at its destination and at its departure point – allowing it to be cast from anywhere without requiring prior preparation, although its range is far greater when using a pre-existing beacon as its destination.
