One of the twelve Royal Orders of Mantoni, the Royal Order of the Hawk was built from the remnants of the Dantonian Army of the Hawk; most of which was destroyed when Danton fell in the Seventh Age.
The Hawk worship Hellani the Goddess of Healing and Protection and are devoted to the defence of Mantoni above all else. The Hawk are sworn to only ever fight defensive actions and never contribute troops to campaigns of invasion. Most major Mantonian cities have at least some Hawk presence, enabling the other factions to ride out to war knowing that their home territories are well defended.
