Cerrestia

The largest city in the Golden Land, or indeed anywhere on Varys, Cerrestia also serves as the nation’s de-facto capital, although in principle the quescent Karithkaia is the state’s sole ruler. The city is divided into three parts, each dominated by a great temple - one to Schiraman, one to Solandria and the largest of all dedicated to Jurakell.

Broad straight roads criss-cross the city according to an ancient plan, with major routes radiating from the three great temples while secondary roads form concentric rings around them. At every intersection perfectly manicured gardens bloom, open to all citizens, and help to make the city a pleasant place to live - despite the countless rules and regulations that its population must adhere to.
