Solandria

"The agony of her lost loves, of her sister and her husband, seemed early too great to bear. But yet she had such strength of goodness in her that she vowed to live and use the blessing of Vellamni to guide others to a joy that she had never known."

Solandria is the Goddess of Light, Illumination and Education. She believes that Humanity must strive to learn and grow, both seeking wisdom for themselves and sharing it with others.

Twin sister to Sulansis, Solandria was originally an Amma - raised to godhood by Vellamni after her husband, Vellamni's son, was murdered by Sulansis in a fit of jealousy.

Solandria, together with Mithrilanda, guided the great Human nation of Danton - in part through the power of the Solinast, an artefact that contained a great deal of her own power.

Although the Solinast was destroyed, it was reforged into the Gems of Magnas and Solandria has continued to help mankind, even after the fall of Danton.

The rise of Sulansis as a dark power and the terrible wars that followed have left their mark on Solandria however, and she is no longer as merciful as she once was; instead she now seeks to defeat her sister and encourages her followers to hunt down and destroy darkness. In this aim she is closely allied with Schiraman.

She appears as a beautiful blond woman in a pure white robe. Solandria's symbol is The Star, a simple four-pointed white star. Her followers adhere to the Code of Solandria.

Solandria is worshipped widely throughout Reshomme and she is amongst the most powerful of the Gods.
