An Angel of tremendous power, the Angel of Alas was the greatest of all angels and both her number of worshippers and raw magical ability outstripped those of several minor Gods.
It is generally assumed that the Angel of Alas was once human, although nothing is known of her origin or even her true name. Since Alas herself remains aloof from events on the Core Plane it would seem that the angel directly inherited many of her worshippers and a portion of her power.
She appeared as a pale-skinned and beautiful woman, dressed all in black and with long black hair. She had delicate wings that seemed formed of folded darkness and bore a long, slim, black sword.
The angel was finally slain by Starenkeen during a recent battle at Hightemple in Karantas, although her death brought forth the Black Citadel - which seems to suggest that the Angel of Storms was merely a pawn in her plans.
