Sorcerer Quest

A special quest given to a promising Knight Adventurer in order to prove if they are worthy of promotion to the rank of Sorcerer. Such quests are directly analogous to the Knight Quests required for promotion from Warrior to Knight, although they are normally proportionately harder.

Sorcerer Quests are frequently concerned with arcane matters of one kind or another, with tasks such as finding lost lore or sources of magical power, researching new areas of magic, exploring the planes and the like relatively common. As with Knight Quests though, the exact quest set might be almost anything and sometimes has little obvious connection with either magical expertise or leadership skills.

Since the Royal Order of the Dragon does not use the rank of Sorcerer, and has Knight Captains instead, they task their promising Knights with Honour Quests instead.
