This simple spell filters out the minor magical fluctuations common to the Astral Plane, creating an area of calm that is well-suited to the performance of ritual magic. Any Casting Ritual or Ritual-type spell conducted within this boundary has its difficulty reduced by 1.

Ritual Circle is technically a sphere, with its boundary marked by a series of spectral, glowing runes that shift and change in response to the rituals worked within. It is generally cast with its origin at ground level, so that it effectively forms a dome within which the ritual can be performed. In order for a given ritual to be eligible for the bonus all its participants must remain entirely within the spell's Affected Volume throughout the casting time.
