Partial Manifestation grants its caster a limited degree of physical presence, making him faintly visible, allowing him interact with the physical world and nullifying the effects of the Astral Veil – although he is still only capable of performing Spiritual or Semi-Spiritual magic.

Whilst in this form the spirit's effective physical Strength is dictated by the Power invested in the spell. Unfortunately the movements allowed by the spell are rather less precise than those of a real body, causing the spirit to suffer a moderate Dexterity penalty. A partially manifest spirit retains its intrinsic ability to fly, but can no longer ignore physical obstructions completely – instead being forced to slowly phase through them at one quarter their normal walking Movement (round up). Objects with an astral presence – such as enchanted or evoked items – cannot be phased through in this way.

Although the casting spirit retains his normal immunity to Shock, the spell renders him fully vulnerable to Wound Penalties caused by Physical and Energy Damage.
