Ability Type: Group Ritual, Difficulty 19
Related Skill: Spellcasting
Provided By: Ritual Magic

Bearing more than a passing resemblance to Combine Channels, Collective Channelling blends energy from multiple Channels in a similar way, allowing multiple participants to provide Power for a single spell. By default each Supporting Caster can donate up to 50% of the Power available from a single Channel (round up), but if the type of Power offered is matched by the Ritual Leader then the entire Channel may be used.

In addition the ritual enhances the spell's ability to accept Power by tying its structure to multiple mages, increasing its Maximum Power Cost by 50% per Supporting Caster – but occupying half a Spell Slot from each (in case of fractional Maximum Power Cost, round up). If the spell is maintainable its ongoing Power cost can be met by any combination of the ritual's participants - with the exact amount provided by each individual considered Variable, so long as the same Channels are used and the total Power meets the spell's Power Cost. If any of the ritual's participants drops the spell, either deliberately in order to free up the Spell Slot - or as a result of becoming unconscious or otherwise incapacitated, then the spell as a whole ends immediately.
