Tra'Kana

A minor junction-plane in the Fringes, Tra'Kana exists at the very edge of Reshomme and has experienced several major Chaos breaches over the ages. Tra'Kana is a volatile plane with close ties to the Elemental Planes of Fire and Water; it consists of a endless sea of fire out of which vast mountains of ice sporadically grow forth. Although the ice is gradually sublimated into steam by the intense heat surrounding it, the process takes thousands of years - giving time for new mountains to appear and for the planes inhabitants to gradually transfer themselves from old to new.

Various civilisations have risen and fallen here, including the great law-obsessed city of Sas'Trankha, though at present it is home to only a handful of villages, subsisting in the steam-swamps at the edges of several ice mountains and surrounded by the ruins of earlier cultures.
