The Vhanti are an order of warriors sworn to serve Schiraman, and more specifically the Angel Jurakell. They were formed in the year 282 NA, during the early days of the War of Waking to help patrol gate-routes and prevent the Awakened from spreading. Most were killed in the final stages of the war, and those that remained have since disbanded or been destroyed – except for one remaining stronghold. The Vhanti are almost exclusively drawn from the Lehenyar race, a branch of Humanity that is sufficiently obscure for the order to have become almost completely synonymous with the race itself.
