One of the twelve Mantonian Royal Orders, the Phoenix are not related to the group of a similar name from the Harry Potter books.

The Phoenix worship Grendarra and are amongst the most skilled mage-smiths on Amethgare. The Phoenix not only craft weapons and armour for the other orders, they also employ various forms of magical automata to fight in place of their own Warrior Adventurers, preferring to spend their energies on research, magic and creation of magical objects rather than warfare.
