This spell improves on the efficiency of Rush of Life by drawing life-force from its caster and transferring it directly to its target, rather than needing to convert magical energy. Instead the Power invested in the spell serves only to channel and control the flow of energy, leading to a more stable and less dangerous effect.

Since the caster is fully prepared for the life-drain the spell inflicts on him, this damage does not include a Shock component, but is instead 100% real damage – all of which can then be passed to the target as healing. In addition, this damage does not provoke a Trauma Check.
