This spell reverses the normal process of Life Channelling in order to perform a clumsy and limited form of instant healing – pouring raw life energy into an injured person and so counteracting some or all of the damage that they have suffered. Unfortunately, because of the relatively uncontrolled flow of energy into the spell's target, Rush of Life also causes considerable Shock.
