The prosperous trade city of Kai-Delvha is ruled by a council of six merchant princes, each of whom holds sway not only over their part of the city, but also over certain trade routes and considerable assets elsewhere on the Plane of Delvhasis, as well as on other planes nearby.
Although the six princes are frequently at odds with one another, it is forbidden by law for these disagreements to spill onto the streets of Kai-Delvha and instead any battles between them are carried out in more remote locations - either directly battling over holdings or on the so-called 'Fields of Honour'.
