A semi-sentient artefact of incredible power, located in a gigantic citadel in the centre of Treneth. It resembles a massive, semi-liquid gem that shines with a blinding crimson light. The Trenkytis is without doubt the single most powerful object on the entire Core Plane.

The Sulaim were once able to manipulate the power of the Trenkytis and one faction, the Sisterhood of the Crimson Shard, used this power to bind the dragon Benethyarr - creating the Dragonbone Spear and Dragonbone Keep.

Recently, in an attempt to tame its power once more and subdue the tremendous magical defences of the citadel, the Goddess Mithrilanda bound herself magically to the artefact - with both gaining a degree of influence over the other.
