For betraying their original orders and aiding the enemies of Karantas, the army and its soldiers' families were exiled - and when the victorious armies of the New Kingdoms founded the nation of Mantoni they were included as full citizens. From that day forth the Army of the Viper became the Royal Order of the Viper.
