Along with the ability to change shape comes the ability to sense such changes in others; Sense True Form allows its caster to clearly see the natural shape of any shape-shifted individual (this includes changes caused by both Enhancement and Metamorphosis), as well as making the distinction between living beings and unnatural forms (such as undead, animated or manifested bodies) clearly apparent.

If a being's true nature has been altered by a spell with the Cloaked attribute, Sense True Form must overcome this cloaking in order to reveal the truth – otherwise it will register them as perfectly natural. Fortunately Sense True Form receives a +5 bonus to its effective Casting Total for contests of this kind.
