Mantynae

Mantynae is the northernmost island of the extensive Kelva Archipelago, and home to the Crescent State of Vala Mantyn.

One of the smallest islands of the archipelago, extremely mountainous and known for its severe weather, Mantynae is sparsely populated and famous for its natural beauty. Though resources on the island are quite limited, its proximity to the Glass Coast provides it a steady, if unspectacular, trade in rare minerals and animal products harvested there. Thanks to frequent forays into this dangerous and unstable region, and the difficulty of navigating the wild seas around the island itself, the people of Mantynae have a reputation for being daring and hardy adventurers.
