Trauma Check

Whenever you suffer Shock or receive a new Injury Penalty you must make a Trauma Check to see if you are incapacitated. Trauma Checks are a Willpower Check, taking into account any current Damage Penalty or Shock, with your status dependant on the check's total.

A total of 5 or less results in death, 6-8 indicates you have been Knocked Unconscious, 9-11 means you are Stunned, 12-14 has no further effect and a result of 15 or more allows you to shrug off a point of Shock. Rolling a Fumble on a Trauma Check counts as 0 on the dice, and does not require a second roll to determine Severity.
