Rather than relying on aggression and power, this elegant technique focuses on speed and accuracy – allowing a rapid strike that is ideal for landing the first blow, or for overcoming a skilled foe's practised defences. A Swift Blade attack can be either a cut or a thrust, but must be made with a one-handed sword or dagger. It has +1 AM and provides a +1 bonus to Initiative, but suffers from a -1 DC modifier.
