A form of Trenethain Human. Sulaim are native to Nelonia but are found scattered here and there all across Amethgare, living as semi-nomadic tribes. Sulaim are fairly common in Southern Neyeneth, where they are frequently the victims of attacks by the Neyeneth Empire.
Sulaim have bone-white skin and hair; slanted, pinkish eyes and pointed ears. They are slightly longer lived than most Humans and, like their cousins the Eldren are also allergic to alcohol.
Sulaim are well-adapted to nocturnal or subterranean living and have excellent night-vision, although they do not cope well with direct sunlight - being burned and dazzled easily.
The Sulaim were originally native to Treneth.
Sulaim are sometimes referred to as 'Ghost Elves' or just 'Ghosts' by the Amethyar and Nethenyarr
Although they were allies in ancient times, the modern Sulaim and Eldren have great contempt for each other.
