As well as physical and mental aptitude, leadership skills and considerable experience within their order, a Sorcerer must have a thorough understanding of magic. The stringent requirements for this rank make Sorcerers Adventurer rare, and greatly feared by the enemies of Mantoni.

Only one order, the [[Royal Order of the Dragon]], does not use the term Sorcerer Adventurer to describe its highest rank, using the term [[Knight Captain]] instead. Although Knight Captains lack the magical expertise of a Sorcerer they place additional emphasis on combat skill and leadership abilities and are perhaps the strongest generals of Mantoni.

The highest rank of Mantonian Warrior Adventurer, Sorcerers are the ruling caste of Mantonian society. Both the Royal Council and the Noble Council are entirely composed of Sorcerers Adventurer and in addition the King and his wife, the High Princess, are also granted this title.
