Shield Wrench

This specialised attack attempts to catch the 'beard' of your axe (or the hook on your polearm or spear) around the edge of your foe's shield so that you can wrench it out of the way, throwing your enemy off balance and making it harder for them to defend with their shield against subsequent attacks.

If the technique succeeds your opponent suffers a -2 penalty to all actions on their next turn as they attempt to right themselves, and a -4 AM to all moves carried out with their shield until the end of your next turn. Only weapons that list the Shield Wrench move are suitable for performing it.
