Plane of Nsadhehn

A dark and desolate plane that consists of a great expanse of semi-regular stepped plateaus constantly shrouded in dense mist. The plane exists in a perpetual state of twilight, thanks to the many small, dim suns that orbit this peculiar world.

Plant life on Nsadhehn is limited mainly to moss, lichen and trailing vines and animal life is similarly sparse, consisting principally of insects and other small creatures.

One exception to this rule are the great spiders that haunt the Planar Gates to Alkasha, Vhen'yhasta and Dutriorch. When fully grown these massive arachnids can have legs that are as much as two metres long, though their relatively quiet movement and the misty environment of Nsadehn nevertheless combine to make them difficult to detect. It is generally believed that they are foreign to the plane, although it remains a mystery how they came to be there. How they survive despite such scarcity of prey is also unknown, but they are certainly a great threat to travellers.
