Mentalic Impression

Mentalic Impression is the term used by most Mentalicists to indicate a degree of familiarity with a given mind, sufficient to target that mind with various spells. This familiarity is essentially just a matter of memorising the unique impression made by that mind on the Astral Plane, and does not suggest any special insight into nature or character, or even knowledge of the target's name - making a Mentalic Impression something akin to a magical fingerprint.
