Often known as the Awakeners, the Knights Sorcerous of the Spirit Awakening are a faction of Lan'kaloran sorcerers based in the rebel enclave of Lan'sarith. Although their origins are somewhat unclear, they are often considered to be a splinter faction of the much older and more respectable Knights Vigilant of the Dragon Deathless.
The Awakeners are noted for having a strong interest in necromancy, and amongst other things are responsible for raising the entire line of Vae matriarchs from the dead.
