Jolt infuses a target with a series of tiny pulses of life-force, encouraging the natural flow of energy within them and helping to energise them. This can be useful to wake someone who is asleep or unconscious, or simply to help the target recover from exhaustion. Unfortunately the spell also causes a small amount of Shock, which can sometimes lead to the spell backfiring and rendering its target unconscious by mistake.
