Jhantain are a rare branch of Humanity found here and there amongst the Fringes. Many Jhantain groups are nomadic in nature, and although they have never been a numerous people they are spread far and wide as a result.
Perhaps their largest remaining population is that living on the Plane of Alkasha, where they form an integral part of Ko'khasti society. Although this group is no longer nomadic, Ko'khasti records of ancient Jhantain society tell probably the most complete record of their prior travels and may hint at the locations of many of the smaller tribes.
