Elayndus

Elayndus, or 'Eldren Wine', is a powerful psychedelic drug dissolved in fruit juice (typically grape or apple) that is consumed in a fashion analogous an to alcoholic beverage. Although it is more difficult and expensive to brew than alcohol, Elayndus remains popular in many Eldren lands simply because the Eldren race are universally allergic to alcohol. It is also encountered as an expensive novelty in some primarily non-Eldren nations, especially in the New Kingdoms. Endon is often cited as the home of Elayndus, and is said to produce the finest varieties.
