Operating in direct reverse to Gift of Life, this notorious spell drains life from its target in order to provide the spell's caster with healing, inflicting Shock on both parties in the process. Once the spell is cast, any person touched by its caster directly, or who touches him directly (skin-to-skin contact is required in either case), becomes victim to the spell's life-draining effect – after which the spell ends.
