The great golden city of the Hanaen people and centre of Yndataraen's Empire of the Sun. DanTarAen lay on YllnDeraSah in the Central Planes and was built towards the end of the Fourth Age.
It was eventually destroyed near the beginning of the Fifth Age by an army of Schiraman led by the Angel Jurakell, assisted by a group of powerful Dragons led by Astenoreth.
