Most of the Central Planes are very similar to the Core Plane, consisting of an infinite expanse of vacuum with scattered stars and planets within - though it is not uncommon to also find planes that consist of only a single solar system, or a limitless, flat expanse. Like the Core Plane, events on the Central Planes have a significant impact on the planes further out in the Sphere such as the Heavens, Netherworld and the Fringes.

Examples of the Central Planes are the Shattered World (where Aethleas lies) and YllnDeraSah.
