Burning

Fire Damage and Plasma Damage both inflict Burning, doing additional damage over subsequent turns. Fire Burning lasts for two Rounds and Plasma Burning lasts for four - with Burning beginning on the turn after the initial damage was dealt. The amount of damage done by Burning is based on the Fire or Plasma damage that triggered it, but with a negative Damage Category modifier as explained below:
