A kind of specialised cousin to Mind's Reach, Telekinetic Accelerator allows its caster to levitate several small objects simultaneously, before launching them with deadly force at one or more targets.

The spell can pick up a number of new objects each turn equal to the Maximum Objects Levitated, provided the objects have Weight less than or equal to its Lifting Strength and are within Maximum Lifting Range of the caster. Once picked up, these objects levitate along next to the caster, moving with him until dropped or thrown.

If the caster attempts to lift an object held by another character, or lift something capable of acting on its own (such as a small creature), then the spell can be resisted as though it were a conventional Disarm attempt in the first case or a Grapple attack in the latter – in both cases the spell's attack check is equal to its Casting Total.

Attacks made with the levitated objects are counted as thrown weapon attacks, but use the spell's Throwing Strength and Throwing Dexterity in place of the caster's own. Multiple objects can be thrown by the spell in a single round, although the number thrown cannot exceed the Maximum Objects Levitated.

Each object thrown can be treated as a separate attack, with Multiple Attack Penalties applied as normal, or several objects can be grouped together in order to gain Rate of Fire bonuses – with attacks of this kind counted as a Burst attack if the number of objects thrown is half the Maximum Objects Levitated or less (round up), and counted as Autofire otherwise. Combinations of these two approaches are also possible – for example: throwing a group of three objects at one target and a single object each at two other targets (which would be counted as three attacks, one of which benefits from a Rate of Fire bonus and all of which suffer from a -6 Multiple Attack Penalty).
