A series of ancient temples dedicated to the God Taramis that can teleport travellers instantly from one temple to the next. As well as transport between the various temples of the 'road' itself, these temples can form a link to modern temples of Taramis - provided that they are sufficiently large. It is not possible to open the connection to the Raven's Road from a modern temple however, meaning that someone must always be present at one of the original hubs to facilitate transport.
Activating the temples requires knowledge of ancient runes and considerable magical skill, and the temples themselves are generally located in dangerous, difficult to reach or barely inhabited regions - meaning that very few travellers ever make use of them. However, The Knights of the Silver Cross and various of their allies have made considerable use of this network in recent years.
