The KotGF are a posher version of the Knights of the Silver Cross. They get all the jobs that will make them look good, and also get all the women/men/small furry creatures they can handle. Which is a lot, because they are all as smooth as James Bond.
There have been suggestions that there is a group of troubleshooters that do the jobs even the KotSC won't do. Presumably they are called the Knights of the Bronze Something.
