Warrior Adventurer is the term used in Mantoni to describe the knights who form both its armies and its leadership caste. There are many orders of Warrior Adventurers, divided into Royal, Noble and Common Orders.
The Mantonian government is comprised of the Royal Council and the Noble Council who draw one member from each of the appropriate orders.
Warrior Adventurers of various orders act as police, soldiers, priests, judges, governors and almost every other significant military or civilian position of authority within Mantoni. In addition they are frequently called upon to act as diplomats, spies or assasins or to engage in quests throughout Amethgare and possibly the whole of Teth (on in some cases beyond).
As well as describing the role in general, Warrior Adventurer is also the lowest of three active ranks within the Mantonian orders. Upon completing a Knight Quest a warrior is promoted to Knight Adventurer and upon completing a Sorcerer Quest a knight is promoted to Sorcerer Adventurer.
