Mentalic Cloaking is the general term used to describe any attempt to conceal a mind or minds from magical detection. Two forms of cloaking are possible, Power or Skill-based. The effectiveness of such an attempt is indicated by the level of Mentalic Cloaking. Power-based cloaking hides the cloaked minds from any spell that has an investment of Power less than or equal to its level, while Skill-based cloaking hides them from any spell with a Casting Total that is less than or equal to its level.
