Yaasha is the [[God]] of the Friendly Sea, patron of honest sailors and fishermen and guardian of coastal waters. Like [[Bethtarr]] he loves the world for its wild beauty, but unlike her he is willing to protect mortals from the worst of its rigours in order that they might come to love it as he does. Most particularly, Yaasha has sworn to defend the world from the predations of his hated rival [[Kaneesh]] and the two often fight great battles deep beneath the waves.

The symbol of Yaasha is The Smiling Fish, a happy fish or dolphin. He is generally depicted either as a white dolphin, or as a rugged but cheerful sailor wielding a trident.

Yaasha and [[Taramis]] are good friends, and share a love for travelling and exploration. It is not uncommon for worshippers of one to also follow the other, at least to some extent. The [[Angel]] [[Starenkeen]] is one example of this phenomena.

Notable worship of Yaasha includes the [[Mantoni]]an [[Royal Order of the Dolphin]]. His followers adhere to the [[Code of Yaasha]].
