Prized for its ability to render a group almost immune to archery, Standing Storm surrounds its caster with a bubble of raging wind that attempts to deflect projectiles and knock anyone entering the area off their feet. Only the area between the storm's inner and outer edge is affected by the spell, whilst the area in the centre of the bubble remains completely calm. Unfortunately firing ranged weapons out of the protected area is just as hard as firing in, and likewise those leaving are just as likely to be blown over as those attempting to enter.
