The simplest form of Spirit Binding magic, Spirit Sight allows its caster to see, hear and speak to non-manifest spirits as though they were physical beings – although the distinction between the two remains apparent to him. In order to speak with a spirit using Spirit Sight, the caster must have a language in common with it.

Spirit Sight also reveals unnatural forms such as undead, animated or manifested beings for what they are – although it cannot detect shape-shifting. If the spell used to create an unnatural form has the [[Cloaked]] attribute then Spirit Sight's Casting Total must equal or exceed that of the spell in question in order to detect anything out of the ordinary.
