Once Aman’Zhev Mathryn (Great Tower of the Shielding Darkness), this huge tower was one the of the greatest defences employed by [[Nelonia]] during the [[War of Desolation]]. Although it succeeded in deflecting several of [[Magnas]]’ assaults against [[Hezh Tro Khe]] it was eventually destroyed by a series of overwhelming attacks in the late stages of the war and now lies in blasted ruins.

Also known as The Shattered Tower, the tower ruins are filled with raw magical energy, trapped here by the interaction of the its defences and Magnas’ attacks and they are an extremely dangerous and unstable place; although a powerful site for ritual magic if the risks can be managed. The area around the tower is a lifeless crater - the earth itself torn and burnt for several kilometres in all directions - and the air blazes with wild, magical lightning.

Seck'Lor was the site of the [[Victory of Light|final battle]] between the [[Knights of the Silver Cross]] and the [[Shadow Council]], a significant turning-point in the history of both [[Amethgare]] and [[Reshomme]] in general.
