A mage of moderate power who serves as one of [[Anna Leia Lehtranna]]'s crew aboard her skiff [[The Singing Blade]]. Sareen is a cheerful, happy-go-lucky individual whose friendly demeanour often leads foes to underestimate her. Indeed, although she is patient and rarely inclined to random aggression, Sareen can be extremely vindictive when crossed and her knowledge of [[Pyrokinetics]] makes her a dangerous enemy.

Sareen was named by her mother [[Helene Lasaen|Helene]] after the [[Seventh Age]] hero [[Sareen Mysarra]] and such was Helene's obsession with the White Sorceress that she always believed that Sareen was destined to follow in her namesake's footsteps. When Sareen was fourteen her mother used what little money she had to buy her daughter an apprenticeship with the reclusive wizard [[Majhan Vaulda]], in hopes of fulfilling this long-held dream. Unfortunately however, although Sareen learnt much under his tutelage, she found Majhan repellent and eventually rebelled against him and fled. For a time she wandered aimlessly, teaching cantrips for a fee or performing blessings in the name of [[Mithrilanda]], but eventually she encountered Anna and the two became fast friends.
