Lyvaer Crystals are most often found in the form of stalactites and stalagmites and are easily identified by their gleaming, oily sheen and intense reaction to fire and certain forms of magic. <br />

With appropriate know-how the crystals can be refined into an explosive gel known as [[Lyvaer]], used by the [[Dessakk]] to power their unique ranged weapons. Because of the crystals' rarity, and the power of Lyvaer-fueled weapons, Lyvaer crystals are considered an extremely valuable commodity on many Fringe planes. <br />

For reasons that are not well understood Lyvaer does not combust fully on many of the [[Central Planes]] or on the [[Core Plane|Core]] and crystals that are carried to these locations swiftly loose their potency.</div>Benethyarr
