Once the capital city of the [[Shanta-Katran Federation]], Jhas Kantrath floated on the strange seas of [[Isiri'thantor|Plane of Isiri'thantor]], but was destroyed along with many of the core Federation cities during the [[Third Battle of Isiri'thantor]].

Jhas Kantrath was a beautiful city in its prime, famed for its shining spires and magnificant gardens. Citizens of other Federation cities often travelled to the city to commune with the spirits that dwelled in its great temples, said to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood that bound the Federation together. It was was sometimes known as the Living Heart of Isiri'thantor.

Legends passed down among the plane's surviving inhabitants say that when the city fell, the soul of the plane was shattered - cursing the lives of all who dwell there. Those who believe in such a curse say that it will only be lifted when someday Jhas Kantrath is raised from its sunken grave and returned to its former glory.
